Founded in 2004!

ISCRAM is an international non-profit organization registered in Belgium.

We examine the critical role of information systems in crisis response and management.

ISCRAM promotes research and the exchange of knowledge related to the design, use, and evaluation of information systems deployed for emergency and disaster mitigation, preparation, response, and recovery.

ISCRAM believes that future crises will continue to challenge our abilities to effectively gather, process, and share information across established and ad hoc networks of professional responders, volunteers, and citizens. To meet these challenges, ISCRAM brings together international researchers, practitioners, and policy-makers to understand and address challenges related to the design, use, and evaluation of information systems in the field of crisis response and management.
