Letter from the ISCRAM Board to our Members and Friends

Dear ISCRAM Member or Friend,

We will keep this brief. We know that you are either frantically busy with efforts to respond to the Honshu earthquake and the trail of devastation left around the world, or equally busy with efforts to learn from it so that we may be better prepared for future disasters.

We extend our heartfelt sympathy and concern to all who have suffered, and offer our support to all who are responding. At this time, that support takes the form of access to a community of caring and knowledgeable individuals that, while small, has ties to an extensive, powerful and extremely resourceful world-wide community.

You can reach the ISCRAM community by email at, through the ISCRAM Facebook and LinkedIn groups, or via @ISCRAM on Twitter.

We encourage you to communicate with each other, and to get in touch with us, if you have needs that a well-connected network of warm hearts, questioning minds and dedicated professionals might help address.

The ISCRAM Board

P.S. And, of course, we are looking to YOU to help develop initiatives for how ISCRAM might be able to play a more active role in future responses.
