Please see the following call for submissions for the Jose Maria Sarriegi Major Catastrophe Research Award which is open until September 15th.
TECNUN and the Cátedra de Catástrofes de la Fundación Aon España call for the sixth edition of the Jose Maria Sarriegi Major Catastrophe Research Award.
The award has a prize of 1.000 euros for the winning article. Articles that have been published in Web of Science indexed journals between 2022 and 2023 are eligible for the award.
The papers must address research related to major catastrophes both those derived from nature and those generated by human action, addressing aspects that contribute to anticipation, prevention, management, and response to major disasters. This year we want to make a special emphasis to papers related to the use of AI for disaster management.
